2020年6月29日科睿唯安发布2019年《期刊引证报告》。截至目前，MDPI出版的250本期刊中，共有71本期刊被SCIE收录，4本期刊被SSCI收录，其中3本为SCIE和SSCI双收录。同时，Actuators, Agriculture, Biology, Biomedicines, Biosensors, Chemosensors, Children, Healthcare, Journal of Fungi, Journal of Personalized Medicine, Land, Life, Magnetochemistry, Membranes, Pharmaceuticals, Photonics, Separations, Toxics 18个期刊收获第一个影响因子。较于往年，共有72%的期刊影响因子有所提高，25本期刊在期刊所属的至少一个学科分类中位列前25%。
2019年，在科学引文索引扩展(SCIE)和社会科学引文索引(SSCI)涵盖的金色开放获取期刊 (Gold Open Access Journals) 上发表的文章中，在MDPI期刊上发表的文章约占17%。
Veterinary Science期刊新近被SCIE收录，将于2021年公布《期刊引证报告》时收获第一个影响因子。
